In Minnesota, the most common word associated with carp is "Junk". The European facination with this fish has yet to spread to Minnesota. Happily for fishermen like myself, that means the carp of the land of 10,000 lakes have lived relatively untouched happy and worry free lives. Their only predator is Van De Camp's.
Pictures below contain some of my of largest carp. One is 38 inches long and 30lbs class. Pre-spawn this fish could go 40lbs.
